Worship is at 10.30am service every Sunday morning.  At Speedwell we like to embrace different styles of worship but are more comfortable with more modern and contemporary styles of worship, our services are led by a Minister/Local Preacher and one of our Worship Leaders.  We always end our time of worship with a time of fellowship over a cup of tea and a biscuit or two.

Special services include monthly All Age Worship, Healing, Sunday School Anniversary, Church Anniversary, theme preaching, dedications, Baptisms (including with full immersion), thanksgivings, funerals, weddings and various celebrations. Holy Communion is celebrated monthly morning and evening.

It is an additional blessing when the church continues its fellowships with meals - either cooked or bring and share.

The style of worship at Speedwell could be described as Spirit-led, lively, modern and inclusive of all ages, with a varied structure. There are opportunities for testimonies, sharing and the gifts of the Spirit. As part of the worship, requests are made to the church family for food items for a ministry called Here4U which distributes parcels to families in need three times a year. There is also a weekly slot for good news stories to share God's good works throughout the world.

A weekly bulletin is produced, giving full information about forthcoming events, and keeping the church family informed. Services are not restricted in their length, allowing the Spirit to move and the church to respond. Opportunity for healing is given at monthly services, as well as when asked at any other time.

The church is well served by a brand new Video Projector, which aids worship. The ZionWorx® software used includes all of Songs of Fellowship 1-5 which is our only worship resource. There are also a CD Player which can be used in worship, as well as the facility to show video clips or films. The 9 member band plays a variety of instruments covering wind, string, percussion and keyboard and also 5 singers. The band and singers meet for fellowship midweek, for prayer and practice, and to learn new songs.

Apart from August and the first Sunday morning of the month, Sunday School meets after spending the first portion worshipping in the church, for their own Bible classes. This covers ages from 3 to 18, and is supported by several committed members of the church helping the Sunday School Superintendent.

Flowers are kindly donated to the church each week, and are then distributed to individuals/families as a symbol of love from the church.
